Become A Member

There are three categories of membership of Indigenous Art Code Limited (IartC):

1. Dealer Members – are organisations and individuals who are engaged in commercial trade with Indigenous artists. These Members are signatories to the Code and must adhere to the Code’s requirements in conducting business. They must also respect the rules set out in the company constitution.

2. Indigenous Artist Members – are Indigenous artists who wish to be informed and involved in IartC. They are not bound by the Code but as Members, must abide by the rules set out in IartC’s constitution.

There are no membership fees applicable for this category of membership.

3. Code Supporter Members – are people and organisations who support the Code and its principles but are not involved in commercial trade with Indigenous artists. This could include collectors, individual philanthropists, galleries and museums covered by the Charter of Principles for Publicly Funded Collecting Institutions. They are not bound by the Code but as Members, must support and promote the ethical principles of the Code and abide by the rules set out in the IartC’s constitution.

Complete the forms and send with your membership fee (cheque or money order) or proof of electronic transfer of membership fee to:

Payment

Payment of membership fees can be made by cheque, money order or electronic transfer. Where using electronic transfer, please include proof of transfer (receipt or transaction reference) with your application form.
