Kerrie Farr

Wiradjuri

Kerrie Farr is a proud Wiradjuri woman and indigenous abstract artist, now residing on the Gold Coast (
Kombumerri Nation). Cultural pride and dedication run deep within her family: while her ancestors and brother served/serve the community as respected elders, Kerrie's path of expression is walked through the canvas.

Kerrie utilises traditional indigenous techniques such as intricate dotting along with contemporary self-developed techniques. Kerrie translates the unseen energy, emotions and spiritual layers of Country whilst utilising a vibrant and uninhibited palette.

Being self-taught gives her the freedom to create from within, allowing her to connect indigenous and western cultures.
