Gomeroi

I am a Gomeroi ~ Wiradjuri woman from Quirindi in the Liverpool Plains, North West NSW. As a child, I spent a lot of time with my Grandmother while she was creating her art. She was always creating from painting and plants to textiles and she was always involved in voluntary roles within community. This led me to where I am today, although my business is young my learnings are life long.
I have been living in Tamworth for the past 8 years and am an established independent artist. For the past 4 years, I have been working alongside my community also being mentored by local Elders, Arts Nort West, 2 Rivers and Indigico Creative displaying my artworks in many exhibitions, online stores and markets. Some of my work includes Reconciliation cake for Tamworth Regional Council, sporting gear for Tamworth Netball and junior Ruby teams and many youth collaborated artworks all from Gomeroi Country - A Lasting Impression.
My art has always had a huge influence from my Gomeroi heritage. What I
create is both old and new stories using traditional and non-traditional
mediums. I love to be able to share my
knowledge and culture whenever the opportunity arises.
