I am a proud Yamatji Martu woman born and raised in the heart of the Kimberly, WA. My people descend from the mighty Western Desert from a small rural town called Meekatharra in the centre of the Western Australia. My Grandmother is one of the last Traditional landowners of her time and my Grandfather is one of the last Traditional Lore men still practicing to this day.
I am a modern contemporary artists specialising in acrylic to canvas work as well as digital design. I come from a rich blood line of story tellers, which has been passed onto me by my sovereigns, My Grandmother and Mother! Our connection the the Barna (the land) plays a huge roll in our cultural identity and has helped us heal and nurture those around us. A lot of my Desert art portrays the land we stand on and resembles life's many journeys one may embark on. The lessons we learn along the way and the respect we gain for others as we grow.
